A basic question is, can you reach the bottom of the well (or target depth, if shallower) and get back to surface?

If all is well, you should see a diagram indicating that you can reach TD.

If there is a problem, a explanatory message will appear and the diagram will indicate the problem depth. Typically, this will be compression (in the case of wireline) or lockup (for coiled tubing).  If this occurs, you then need to evaluate the severity of the situation and determine if there are steps you can take to overcome the problem (for example, changing the tool configuration or the fluids in the well).
