Another very important result is the graph of Maximum Pull with Depth. This is critical if the tools become stuck, or if you are fishing or moving a sliding sleeve or other mechanical device downhole.

The blue line is the maximum pull that can be applied at the end of the toolstring (for example when fishing) with the cable at its maximum working tension. This number drops quickly in a deviated well, as shown below. The red and pink lines show the weak point breaking tension. The lines are not quite straight because the weak point is at the top of the toolstring, while the maximum pull being graphed here is at the bottom. The drag on the tools is enough to slightly reduce the maximum pull relative to the weak point rating.
