| ROVER
- REMOTE ORION VIEWER |
The
ROVER features a QVGA (320x240) STN color graphic LCD
display. The display has excellent readability under
most lighting conditions. The brightness and contrast
are user controlled. Input occurs through a resistive
touch screen via 10 touch-pads located around the display
or through direct contact with the main display. The
ROVER is fitted in a housing meeting NEMA-4 specifications
for hose-down, icing, and salt spray when mounted in
a NEMA-4 panel. It interfaces with the Orion data acquisition
system (DAS) and offers the user the following screen
views:

Two digital view screens displaying
six data channels per screen. The user chooses the
data channels displayed.
Similar to the digital views in the Orion software.

Two trend (strip) chart screens
displaying two data channels per chart. The user
chooses the
data channels
displayed. The charts are for trend analysis
and are presented horizontally.

Two analog view screens (similar
to an analog gauge) displaying two gauges per screen.
The user chooses
the data channels displayed.

Several Setup screens allowing the
user to customize the display properties.

Access to Emergency Stop System
functions.
When used with an Orion DAS fitted with the NOV CTES Electronic
Memory Unit (EMU), the ROVER provides the user a
completely autonomous system, capable of displaying
and recording critical job data when the primary
PC is not connected to the Orion DAS.
